How we use your data

Your privacy and understanding of how we use your data is important to us. Please read this notice carefully.

  • DOB
  • Contact details
  • 3 years address history
  • 1 years employment details
  • Account number and sortcode

Dependent on which lender we are successful with will determine what other information is required and we may need more then the above to complete your application

You have no obligation to provide any of the above details but without that information we won’t be able to make an informed decision when you apply for finance with us

If you provide the details needed we are able to submit you to one of our Approved Lenders who are fully FCA Registered, once they can verify your identification, the details we collect help to prevent Fraud and Money Laundering

3. How we use your data

To get you the quickest response we will use an automated decision-making service to gain your credit score, once we have confirmed your identification and accessed your credit score we will be able to make an informed decision, the details will come back from the credit reference agencies and fraud prevention agencies within 24 hours which will allow us to inform you if you have been accepted or declined. By agreeing with our Privacy Policy, you agree that we can use the data you provided alongside our Automated Decision-making system to do a credit check. When assessing your application for credit, potential fraud, to check your identity and also prevent money laundering, we may search the files of credit reference agencies CallCredit, Equifax and/or Experian (or any other credit reference agency that we may use from time to time) who will record any credit searches on your file

We will not Pass on your details to anyone apart from our Lenders who need the information to make an informed decision.

When completing your Paperwork, the relevant dealer may require your Full name and Address to send an invoice, we will confirm with you nearer the time.

Your contact number and email will not be passed onto anyone apart from our Lenders and Potentially anyone else in Auto Finance Online LTD who require getting in contact with you

We will keep your details on record for the duration of your loan period (2-10 years) if you do not go ahead with the loan application your details will be removed from the system after 2 years starting from the date you applied.

We can introduce you to a limited number of lenders who may be able to offer you finance facilities for your purchase. We will only introduce you to these lenders. We may from time to time offer promotional finance terms from our funders. These terms will be for specified and limited time and may apply to; specific stock, age of vehicle or finance balance. These terms maybe offered by one or more of our funders. We will receive different commission amounts if you are taking advantage of a promotion.
